Comprehensive Abdominal Ultrasound Workshop – Johor Bahru Edition

Following the success of our earlier sessions, Sains Medika Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Manipal Alumni Association Malaysia, proudly held the Comprehensive Abdominal Ultrasound Workshop for Primary Care on 23 August 2025 at Holiday Inn Johor Bahru.

The workshop brought together primary care practitioners eager to strengthen their abdominal ultrasound skills and apply them more effectively in clinical practice. Designed as a blend of theory and hands-on training, the program provided participants with both the knowledge and confidence to perform real-world scanning.

Led by experienced clinical experts, the sessions featured practical training on EDAN ultrasound systems – AX8, AX3, LX25, and LX9 – with scanning focused on abdominal organs such as the kidney, liver, bladder, prostate, uterus, and ovaries.

Among the highlights were the AX8 and LX9 platforms, which drew strong feedback for their superior image quality and smart features that support precise diagnostics. Many participants also appreciated the expert guidance provided during the hands-on sessions, especially on probe positioning and image interpretation.
